Truthful eyes,
Honest eyes,
Deadly eyes.
Eyes so truthful that their light pierces any darkness,
   It's just a matter of time.
Brutal eyes,
Menacing eyes,
Truthful eyes.
All of your deepest hopes freeze in place and shatter
   Before the most bright.
Veiled eyes,
Unfolding eyes,
Opening eyes.
Wherever they look, they trample and stomp and destroy,
   and you wonder why you look.
Pure eyes,
Your eyes,
Lion eyes.
Have no fear! For the eyes, powerful and free,
   see with truth in nature;
