John Roth has authored or edited over thirty books. He is an internationally known expert on the Holocaust, about which he has written and lectured extensively. In 1988 he was recognized as the National Professor of the Year by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the Carnegie Endowment for the Advancement of Teaching.
