The form below gives you the oportunity to lookup DNS names and will allow you to change or check on any DNS names that belong to you in the system. Note that authentication via username and password are required to make changes or examine individual entries. The authentication (and DNS records) are maintained on the VMS machines (aka Thuban), so you must know your password on this machine. If you haven't changed your password on this machine, it is likely your original assigned password given to you as a freshman.

Changes made to your DNS name will propagate into the system within the next 24 hours. Don't expect to see the change immediately.

The DNS lookup will default to examining the "ST.HMC.Edu" domain if only a hostname is entered. If a fully qualified name (such as www.microsoft.com) is entered, then that host will be looked up. This lookup can also do "reverse" lookups, that is you may type in an IP ADDRESS and the lookup should return the current name.
